Acre is partnered with a Commercial Real Estate Consultancy to identify a Sustainability Manager to lead, scope, coordinate and manage ESG programs for the world's largest asset management clients. The Manager will develop and lead high impact sustainability programs across building portfolios, manage a supporting team and execute overall client strategy and program design.

This woman-founded and led business works with the Heads of Sustainability and ESG to transform the way commercial real estate performs, committed to innovative value creation and sustainability best practices.

In this high impact role you will be working closely with industry thought leaders, playing a significant role influencing senior ESG stakeholders, driving ESG performance and implementing global sustainability trends and real estate management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Autonomously lead client engagements focused on corporate sustainability reporting frameworks such as the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and CDP.

  • Manage strategic sustainability scopes, focusing on holistic and innovative offerings for clients to develop sustainability programs.

  • Engage with clients as the lead program manager to build and maintain key relationships for short- and long-term client growth.

  • Manage direct reports and provide project team leadership.

Key Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 3 years of applicable work experience.

  • A self-motivated individual with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Experience developing and administering successful sustainability, ESG, energy and/or emissions reduction programs across multiple building portfolios.

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing landscape and client needs, being able to pivot and adjust priorities and approaches.

  • Experience in EPA's ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.

  • Experience with GHG, GRESB, CDP, GRI, SASB, PRI or other corporate reporting and benchmarking programs preferred.
