They are looking for a Sustainability Manager to join a newly created internal sustainability team for the consultancy. You will be supporting the Senior Sustainability manager in turning strategy into action, whilst driving sustainability practices into operational processes across FM, recruitment, learning and development, events, risk management & IT.

You will be managing and coordinating work across numerous delivery projects, as well as supporting the Senior Sustainability Manager in setting the direction of the firm in terms of internal sustainability ambitions and commitments. This role will also own responding to client information requests, meeting external disclosure requirements and maintaining and seeking relevant accreditations.

Key accountabilities:

  • You will provide internal SME on ESG and Sustainability related topics to challenge and inform strategy.

  • Shape and deliver plans to turn their internal sustainability strategy into action, including systematically reducing carbon emissions and the environmental impact o their business and supply chain, whilst also supporting social impact objectives.

  • You will work with business stakeholders to identify actions and activities required to deliver on sustainability objectives.

  • Manage overall disclosure approach including owning annual submissions to schemes such as CDP, EcoVadis, driving annual ESG reporting and supporting responses to client information requests.

You will need:

  • Previous experience of working on Sustainability related topics in a corporate environment.

  • Expert knowledge of ESG and sustainability related topics including experience working with a wide range of sustainability frameworks and accreditations such as B-corp, CDP, TCFD, ISO14001, SBTi, UN SDGs etc.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage several projects at once whilst managing and engaging with a variety of business stakeholders.

  • Comfortable at working in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of change.

  • Able to navigate a degree of ambiguity.
