The Corporate Sustainability team is currently on a journey of growthand is looking for someone like you to support the Head of Sustainability Delivery by successfully driving a consistent approach for the delivery of sustainability projects and initiatives. You will be expected to manage the performance of the Framework by developing, implementing, monitoring and measuring a comprehensive programme of initiatives.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Leading the engagement with internal stakeholders in all function groups and divisions, as well as external assurance providers and technical experts

  • Defining and managing a roadmap for sustainability reporting and KPIs in line with the sustainability strategy and framework

  • Driving the processes and busines requirements that will secure ongoing performance of the Framework and support the embedding of these in core operational activities

  • Managing supply chain engagement and integrating supplier data into Barratt's sustainability reporting

  • Project Management of framework and business projects by developing appropriate project plans

  • Collaborating with internal and external communications teams to ensure Barratt is able to effectively communicate its position and performance on sustainability

You will be passionate about creating a sustainable future and are looking to have an impact on the UK sustainability agenda and therefore the global sustainable development goals.

You will also:

  • Be an excellent communicator, able to work with all levels of the organisation including senior stakeholders

  • Have an educational/professional background in engineering/finance/sciences

  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills

  • Demonstrate a deep interest in scanning the external horizon for best practice and be able to present this back to the business effectively
