Acre is working with an international Consumer Goods organisation to recruit an experienced environmental Reporting Specialist on a 6 month contract basis to start ASAP.
You will lead on their environmental reporting which feeds into their Annual report and priority ESG rankings and ratings notably CDP, DJSI, MSCI and Sustainalytics. You will work with environmental specialists from across the business to deliver best practice environmental reporting and disclosure and industry leading performance in ESG rankings and ratings. You'll also support the Communications Functions Insights strategy to ensure environmental insights are captured, shared and acted upon across the function.
The role will be reporting into the Global Reporting and Insights director working full time for the duration of the contract. The company's HQ is in London and the team have very flexible working from home policy which ensures location won't be a problem.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Responsible for compliance with mandatory environmental reporting requirements e.g. UK SECR and TCFD reporting, working closely with relevant subject matter experts
- Content advisor/reviewer for environmental issues in priority rankings and ratings (DJSI, MSCI, Sustainalytics, plus priority thematic benchmarks including CDP Climate, Forests, Water and CA100+) to ensure alignment with external reporting
- You will be able to demonstrate a solution-orientated and collaborative mindset
- The successful candidate will have experience working for blue-chip multi-national organisations
