As the Sustainability Reporting Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that Bodycote is recognised as a sustainability leader through the production of a best-in-class suite of sustainability reports, communications, and marketing materials.

As the Sustainability Reporting Lead, you will:

  • Lead ESG Reporting –You will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing an ESG reporting programme that is timely, relevant and engaging, and aligned to the corporate strategy. This involves each stage from concept to completion, the development of annual ESG reports, working with internal and external partners, content and data collection, writing and editing, and reviews and approvals.

  • Ensure Compliance & Transparency – Stay ahead of evolving ESG regulations and maintain accurate disclosures in line with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD. You will proactively track market trends and seek opportunities to enhance Bodycote’s sustainability processes.

  • Improve ESG Ratings & Performance – Manage data collection and submissions to key sustainability ratings providers, including CDP, S&P Global, MSCI, Sustainalytics, and EcoVadis, helping to further strengthen Bodycote’s ESG performance.

  • Engage Stakeholders & Communicate Impact – Partner closely with marketing and communications teams to develop clear, engaging, and visually compelling reports. You will also create presentations and other materials to communicate key sustainability trends to internal and external audiences.

Reporting directly to the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), you will partner collaboratively across the business, engaging with teams from health & safety, finance, communications, and legal to ensure an integrated approach to sustainability reporting and ensure that Bodycote’s excellence endures long into the future.

What You'll Bring:

  • Sustainability Reporting Expertise – Proven experience in managing corporate sustainability reporting, with a strong understanding of ESG frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.

  • Strategic & Hands-On Approach – Ability to lead initiatives independently while influencing stakeholders at all levels across the business.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills – Strong writing and storytelling abilities to create compelling sustainability narratives.

This role can be based in London, Macclesfield, or Prague on a hybrid working basis.
