Are you currently in a sustainability role and have in-depth knowledge of sustainability reporting standards? Are you interested in moving into the real estate sector?
Acre is delighted to be partnering with a responsible and well-known real estate leader in their search for a Sustainability Reporting Manager, based in their impressive central London office. Reporting directly into the Head of Group Reporting and engaging with the wider sustainability team you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of their non-financial reporting.
You will be:
Delivering year-end sustainability reporting in the annual report and associated supplementary reports, reporting against TCFDs, energy, waste, water, and other associated metrics.
You will be responsible for managing the year-end assurance process, including managing the relationship with the year-end assurers.
You will work with the managing agents and external data validators to ensure the completeness and integrity of data. Jointly manage the relationship with the data validators.
Incorporating the sustainability reporting into existing quarterly joint venture reports.
Responsible for a limited amount of administration, such as arranging payment of assurers and data validators; tender processes; budget monitoring.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrable expertise in sustainability target setting and monitoring, analysis (data and textual content), and problem-solving.
In-depth knowledge of reporting standards.
Previous experience managing the year-end assurance process.
Experience in the real estate or energy sectors is desirable.
