GlobeScan is an independent, international insights and advisory consultancy who are looking for a Sustainability Research Analyst to support its busy Hong Kong team. Globescan is looking for a team member with a solid grounding in research fundamentals and an inquisitive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the project team with client reports and presentations

  • Desk research, interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data

  • Charting, data coding and proofing

  • Stakeholder mapping, database management, industry benchmarking

Key Requirements:

  • Completed university/college degree in a related field (such as social sciences, consumer psychology, sustainability/corporate responsibility, business, marketing, etc.)

  • 1 to 3 years' business experience, ideally on sustainability, social issues, brand and communications, or reputation

  • Experience with market research

  • Detail-oriented and a commitment to quality

  • Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate findings from data

  • Highly effective communicator, energetic and organised

  • Strong interest in social and environmental issues and how business can be a positive force in society

  • Clear and concise written communications; comfortable speaking in-person, via video conference and telephone

  • A proactive team player but able to think and work independently

  • Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel

  • Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a bonus

  • Must be eligible to work in Hong Kong
