We are working with an established infrastructure investment firm who are looking for an experienced investment director to join their growing sustainable infrastructure investment team. This position has the scope to look across a range of themes, including; renewable power, battery storage, digital infrastructure, water infrastructure and electric vehicle infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Originate, negotiate and structure acquisitions in the Sustainable Infrastructure sector.

  • Coordinate the due diligence process and negotiation for investment opportunities in the Sustainable Infrastructure sector.

  • Evaluate and structure investment opportunities in operating and development assets.

  • Drive portfolio company business plans, managing senior portfolio company personnel.

  • Work on M&A, debt recapitalizations, asset valuations, risk mitigation techniques and exit options.

  • Assist in developing quarterly reports of the team activities and investments to the sector Partners and the CFO.

  • Structuring complex hedge solutions.

  • Participate on Boards of Directors of the investment companies.

  • Work with the firm's legal, tax, accounting, and finance groups in the closing of acquisitions and the reporting of portfolio company investments.

  • Provide day to day leadership and coaching to the Vice President and Associate level.

Requirements for this position:

  • Demonstrable experience working specifically within private equity or infrastructure funds as a business leader, business development professional or commercial leader.

  • Extensive experience in the acquisition, development, and profitable disposition of companies/assets in the Sustainable Infrastructure sector.

  • A well-developed network in the sector including relationships with project developers, large corporations, law firms, investment banks and other relevant professionals.
