A Global Investment Management firm is seeking a sustainability analyst to join one of their most successful investment teams. The analyst will be the on desk expert focusing on how to use ESG/sustainability analysis of companies to select companies that create more value for clients over time. You will lead the integration of sustainability themes and impact principles across their stock selection and company engagement processes working with the fund managers and sector analysts to make better investment decisions informed by your ability to identify best in class investee companies through a sustainability lens.
A background in macro economic research, impact investing, shareholder engagement OR corporate sustainability is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Work alongside the investment team to deliver ESG analysis across portfolio companies
Analysis of ESG policy and regulation change at both sector and company level
Model the impact of climate change across portfolio companies and evaluate their carbon transition strategies
Develop/manage ESG data tools, including engagement, ESG performance and reporting
Key Experience:
Demonstrate a genuine interest in climate change, SDGs and responsible investment
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Knowledge on ESG themes and trends at a sector level, including regulatory and policy changes
