The Product Manager, Sustainable Investment is a key role in a global, strategically important team within a dynamic, rapidly growing business. The right candidate will bring a range of skills and experience including in-depth knowledge of the sustainable investment market, the ability to engage with clients at a senior level and an understanding of product development and implementation. The role will report to the Head of Sustainable Investment, Europe.


The key focus of the role will be managing existing and developing new, sustainable investment (SI) products - across index, data and analytics - and engaging with existing and potential clients across the European region to understand their SI needs, challenges, objectives etc.


Key responsibilities for the Product Manager, SI will include:

  • Understanding, contributing to and maintaining the regional (European) SI product roadmap and prioritising own work accordingly to meet objectives

  • Contributing to SI product innovation, execution and management - across index, data and analytics - based on tactical and strategic objectives

  • Defining SI product propositions and design/development requirements to meet identified client/market needs

  • Engaging and communicating with other SI product managers (within Europe and globally), a range of internal stakeholders and also clients during SI product development processes

  • Contributing to the development of SI product documentation and training (e.g. for the European Sales and Marketing teams) to support the commercialisation of new SI products

  • Maintaining awareness of SI industry changes, regulatory requirements and competitor offerings

  • Scanning the external market for best practice approaches and innovative trends in the SI index, data and analytics markets

  • Supporting the promotion of ISDs SI capabilities and products e.g. via Group marketing campaigns (webinars, events, social media campaigns etc.)

This role requires in-depth understanding of the SI market and how SI/ESG preferences impact the investment process and investment decision-making, and knowledge of product management processes and demonstrated ownership of SI product(s) through the development lifecycle.
