A specialist sustainability Investment Manager are hiring for a Sustainable Investment Researcher to conduct research into companies' ethical/ESG performance and oversee the client's core portfolios and assure ongoing sustainability.
As part of the role, you will be leading investor engagement projects on a variety of sustainability issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Research ESG/sustainability performance for companies using a variety of information sources
Support the thematic investment process through leadership
Engage and collaborate with companies, NGO's and partners on corporate responsibility and sustainability issues
Analyse portfolios for new and existing clients and communicate with Investment Managers
Research and write papers on themes and topics related to sustainability
Represent the company at public facing events
Key Skills:
Experience working in a role combining business with knowledge of sustainability issues
Knowledge of sustainable development issues and how they interact with activities and/or investments
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a team
Manage multiple tasks at once
Be comfortable assessing both qualitative and quantitative data from a range of sources
Be proactive and find solutions by thinking outside the box
Based out of London or one of the firm's regional offices.
