A specialist sustainability Investment Manager are hiring for a Sustainable Investment Researcher to conduct research into companies' ethical/ESG performance and oversee the client's core portfolios and assure ongoing sustainability.

As part of the role, you will be leading investor engagement projects on a variety of sustainability issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research ESG/sustainability performance for companies using a variety of information sources

  • Support the thematic investment process through leadership

  • Engage and collaborate with companies, NGO's and partners on corporate responsibility and sustainability issues

  • Analyse portfolios for new and existing clients and communicate with Investment Managers

  • Research and write papers on themes and topics related to sustainability

  • Represent the company at public facing events

Key Skills:

  • Experience working in a role combining business with knowledge of sustainability issues

  • Knowledge of sustainable development issues and how they interact with activities and/or investments

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a team

  • Manage multiple tasks at once

  • Be comfortable assessing both qualitative and quantitative data from a range of sources

  • Be proactive and find solutions by thinking outside the box
