Acre is pleased to be working with an international working group dealing with environmental stewardship in the leather industry to source an Assistant Project Manager.

This is a newly created role at a rapidly growing membership organization. Reporting to the working group Project Manager you will be supporting on member engagement, project research and development and other administrative duties.

Responsibilities include:

  • Organising and attending meetings crucial to the running of the working group, including in international locales
  • Responding to member queries and delivering member engagement in the form of quarterly newsletters
  • Researching new topical areas of development, creating reports on existing projects
  • Working with internal teams to ensure good communication, reporting, content development
The successful individual will have multidisciplinary experience of organizational processes and functions and have a passion for supply chain sustainability.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in both written and verbal forms
  • An understanding of membership organizations and promotional activates
  • A degree of project management experience
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively, being an independent thinker
