A highly-compelling opportunity has arisen within a globally-renowned banking business, to support and activate its senior level team in volunteering their valuable skills to the third sector. The programme is now entering its second year and is gaining considerable momentum and support, from its founder-led inception to the roots of the banking team's operations. We are seeking a strategic and experienced individual who will provide new ways of thinking and cultivate the programme further; leading the firm in its mission to enable senior leaders to be working as trustees within those social enterprises that will most benefit from their support. Social enterprises will benefit from the free strategic advisory support to enhance their operational, technical, commercial and financial efficiency, and therefore how they can make their biggest positive impact and contribution to the economy and society. Key responsibilities
  • Ownership and development of the strategy, communication and marketing of the project
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement and activation across both the existing business unit and into the wider business ethos; championing the firm's offering, identifying and engaging internal Partner to external clients; matching their interests and needs closely to each other
  • Encouraging and motivating for success against new KPI's & providing compelling critical reporting on each project
  • In time, bringing on new mandates; supporting clients through the application process, communicating clearly what is required of clients
  • Utilising a strong commercial awareness to ensure applications align with the firm's capabilities and providing advice during the on-boarding process
This role will suit a creative, energetic thinker who can act under their own initiative, continually focus on improving and developing on the status quo and initiate change where needed. Requisite skills
  • Strategic development and delivery of responsible business, corporate social responsibility or community investment programmes
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness along with strong communication skills
  • Evidence of uptake success, across all levels of stakeholder groups
