Acre is delighted to be working with a leading FTSE 100 property management and investment organisation to source an experienced Community Manager. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and leading the community investment initiative for the organisation that deliver measurable impacts, for managed assets and developments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing working practices that will deliver positive impacts and outcomes of community engagement
  • Creating Cross-business Community Engagement frameworks, outlining targets delivered and reporting measurable impacts
  • Developing strong, positive relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Building knowledge and awareness across the organisation on best-practice level community engagement
  • Monitor regulation and legislation to identify potential risks to the business
This role reports directly into the Head of Sustainability, and the successful candidate will be expected to engage and collaborate with the wider sustainability team, heads of departments and directors across the business. The successful candidate will act as the go-to person within the business for their community campaign.

Essential requirements:

  • Strategic thinker with programme planning, development and leadership skills
  • Previous community engagement experience in the real estate development/construction sector
  • Detailed understanding of social impacts of real estate development and asset management
  • Results driven with the ability to work in collaboration with government, external stakeholders and internal customers
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate/resolve competing objectives or demands confidentially and effectively
