Acre are once again partnering with one of the fastest growing aerospace manufacturers in the country to source an ambitious and technically savvy EHS Engineer for their site in Oregon. Through encouragement of innovation and implementation of sound practices and procedures, our client continually creates solutions to minimize their impact on the environment as well as building employee development.

This important role will contribute to and directly collaborate with the Corporate EHS department by supporting transparency regarding the environmental impacts of products and operations.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Engage with stakeholders regarding global environmental product and conflict minerals compliance and regulations
  • Generate environmental reports, listing the materials used to build each manufactured product and contribute to the continuous development of database systems and coding
  • Request and compile data from suppliers and manufacturing facilities to support environmental and conflict minerals reporting
  • Identify and implement quality and efficiency improvements for reporting tools with a strong focus on automation
  • Collect and review site environmental data to support sustainability and carbon disclosure reporting
  • Support site environmental management (ISO 14001) systems by providing training, performing audits and tracking task completion
  • Partner with local EHS Managers to help improve environmental programs at the site level

Essential knowledge and skills include:

Strong VBA and Microsoft Excel expertise

  • Previous EHS experience and knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals
  • Experience with RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, and ISO 14001 is a preferred
  • Knowledge of printed circuit board manufacturing and materials is preferred but not necessary
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, EHS, Chemistry or related field of study
  • Chinese language speaking ability is a plus
