Corporate Citizenship are looking for an exceptional leader, a Country Director for the United States to lead their practice, drive business development, work with clients and take advantage of emerging opportunities for the future.

Job Description

Reporting to the CEO of Corporate Citizenship, the Country Director will have P&L responsibility for the US, working with the senior leadership team who are responsible for delivery of the business to budgets.

Principal responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership

  • Articulating, leading and implementing a new business plan for the US building on the platform that has been created over the last 10 years
  • Growing the client footprint into new sectors and exploiting opportunities that exist within the current CC portfolio particularly with emerging business in Mexico and South America and Chime teams globally
  • Leading on client relationships for key accounts
Team Leadership
  • Inspiring and motivating the US Team based in New York and San Francisco and ensuring they operate as one coherent team
  • Ensuring the team have clear and motivating career progression
Client Management and Business Development
  • Developing new contacts and leading pitches to win new business and new clients
  • Managing and developing key client relationships of her/his own and giving day to day strategic advice across all service lines
  • Leading and attending networking events/lunches/dinners and speaking at key events
  • Developing thought leadership and content, exploiting social media opportunities
Personal experience/ specification
  • A strong and positive sense of vision and experience of how good business can contribute to society at large
  • Client focused with an ability to network within and across client organizations to build and manage relationships long term
  • Entrepreneurial
  • A strong collaborator
  • Used to working as a strategic consultant/ adviser at board level
  • International experience and perspective is key
  • Established networks and profile
  • Leadership and judgement to inspire and develop individuals

Terms and location of the appointment

The competitive reward package will be tailored but will include performance related incentives. Location will ideally be New York but there is some flexibility for the right candidate.
