Acre is delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with Earthwatch to source a Development Manager to be based within their Corporate Partnerships Team.

Earthwatch is a global NGO who has been bringing people, science and nature together, to tackle environmental issues, for almost 50 years. In order to solve problems as complex as climate change and wildlife loss, they believe we must work collectively with governments, policy-makers, scientists, businesses and civil society. Earth watch work with this range of stakeholders by using a unique blend of science and engagement - the approach is grounded in evidence and delivered through engaging and immersive experiences, which create knowledge and inspire action. This combination of hands-on experience and sound evidence stimulates change at both an individual and organizational level, which ultimately informs decision making and influences policy

Earth watch is seeking an exceptional relationship builder to drive new business and build on long-standing relationships with International Brands including Mitsubishi and HSBC.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing partnerships from the corporate sector, ensuring retention and development of new and existing partners
  • Working with corporate partners to support their business sustainability agenda, around key issues such as supply chain sustainability and plastic use reduction
  • Taking a lead role in managing accounts throughout the partnership development lifecycle
  • Creating client communication and pitch documents to ensure they are visually appealing
  • Supporting Senior Development Managers with new business opportunities, pitches and proactive response to bids

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, the successful candidate will have the exciting challenge of managing key accounts for Earthwatch to deliver their mission. You will build on Earthwatch's highly successful corporate partnerships model and join a passionate and dedicated team.

Skills required:

  • Proven track record of successful corporate partnership management, account management or corporate engagement
  • Proactive approach to managing multiple clients and prioritising workloads
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to bring clarity to prospective partners through engaging proposals on complex sustainability issues
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence corporate partners
  • A passion an understanding of corporate sustainability challenges
