Already working with some of the largest and most influential brands in the world; current and past international clients include: Abbott, Best Buy, Centrica, Del Monte, Mars, Diageo, Golden Agri, Cisco, Santander, S&P Global, Nigerian Stock Exchange, Sembcorp and Unilever.
Reporting to the Country Director; the successful candidate will be focused on developing long-term relationships while also acting as a 'critical friend' to clients. You will be responsible for mentoring all junior colleagues and efficiently leading a team and a portfolio of clients to meet or exceed budget and profit targets.
Setting the agenda and strategy for core clients; supporting the Country Director in developing and implementing strategy within a specific geography or market
Driving business development to achieve growth targets for a portfolio of clients
Drawing on global experience to contextualise client projects
Influencing clients to explore new areas and concepts; hence speeding up their sustainability journey
Budget responsibility and accountability for managing and leading a portfolio of clients
Client relationships and business development
Productively building, managing, broadening and deepening a portfolio of long-term client relationships
Client lead for several major clients with many multiple projects
Networking on a local and regional scale to explore new business opportunities and potential new clients
Establishing higher strategic priorities for clients by engaging with senior decision-makers across the C-suite
Maintaining a constant new business pipeline through conference talks and growth ideas
Project management and people skills
Leading and mentoring client teams while delivering complex client projects
Resolution of challenges or performance issues
Increasing the value of work delivered through effective team management and pricing
Involving junior colleagues in business development conversations
Knowledge and experience of client work is paramount. You will also be skilled in identifying project improvements and significant new business opportunities across all clients, locations and service lines.
