Acre is very excited to be working with one of the globe's fastest growing aerospace manufacturers to source an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator for their Indiana site. Job responsibilities & duties include:

  • Lead all aspects of the facility's comprehensive health and industrial hygiene programs including the development and execution of IH sampling plans
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic and tactical EHS plans to reduce chemical and noise exposures
  • Develop and sustain a world-class health and industrial hygiene management system for the site
  • Analyze data and reports necessary for corrective / preventive actions and identification of gaps
  • Take appropriate action to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, the location's EHS policy and organization's standards
  • Provide daily safety support and personnel training to assist in deployment of best practices
  • Assist with identifying and investigating safety issues/incidents and develop root cause solutions

In close cooperation with the location's leadership team, this role will be accountable for supporting EHS efforts across the site. Significant interface will be required with local management, business unit management and other internal and external stakeholders.

Additional qualifications needed to be considered include:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; Master's Degree is preferable
  • Relevant experience in the field of industrial hygiene within a manufacturing environment; Certified Industrial Hygienist preferable
  • Demonstrated professional with passion for change and relentless focus on execution.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Regulatory requirements and human performance experience
  • Professional certification or working toward a certification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Power Point)
  • Relocation assistance is provided and travel is less than 5%.
