Acre is currently working with a leading healthcare innovator and manufacturer to find an ambitious leader to join their growing team in Ontario, California. We are seeking an EHS Engineer to maintain and evaluate environmental and safety management systems in a manner that promotes excellence and a broader EHS culture.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 management system maintenance
  • OSHA & ANSI compliance
  • Creating and updating EHS procedures and work instructions
  • Maintaining site adherence with storm and waste water sampling/testing and permitting
  • Collect, file and trend sustainability data and initiate an appropriate action plan
  • Monitor (trend) Ozone Depleting (ODP) Substances and drive actions to eliminate releases
  • Develop and oversee waste management systems and "zero waste to landfill" targets
  • Oversight of site Hazcom and Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) Program
  • Oversight of site Near Miss Program and H&S Injury Reporting

Specific requirements include:

  • Previous years of success working in the field of EHS
  • Bachelor's degree in EHS is preferred
  • An individual who is self-driven/motivated and exhibits leadership qualities
  • Candidate must have a valid California driver's license
  • Works well in a team setting and is a collaborator
  • Experience managing large projects with minimal oversight
  • Expertise within data analytics, trending, perato charts, graphs, pivot tables, etc.
