Acre is very excited to partner with one of the country's fastest growing packaging manufacturers to source an EHS Manager for their Wisconsin facility. In this role, will have the opportunity to expand your EHS career and learn within a global organization who is truly passionate about safety, sustainability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Lead the development, implementation and continual enhancement of the facility EHS program

  • Identify and leverage EHS best practices while establishing adequate systems for performance review and improvement
  • Assist key stakeholders with creative approaches to improve safety, minimize environmental footprint and implement EHS initiatives
  • Conduct and/or coordinate EHS inspections and assessments to assure compliance with regulatory requirements, EHS programs and Key Performance Indicators
  • Partner with engineering in the design and installation of new or altered equipment or processes with the goal of eliminating and/or reducing safety hazards and environmental impact
  • Provide training and information necessary to ensure responsible personnel are aware of corporate and governmental EHS regulations and requirements
  • Lead the facility in promoting and implementing a high performance EHS culture while developing and nurturing a robust safety awareness training program

Requirements for this exciting Manager position include:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to get buy-in, create change programs and influence key stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in health and safety, environment, engineering, or related field
  • Relevant and tangible EHS work experience within a manufacturing setting
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) is a plus
