You’ll be working for the company who own some of the most successful and recognisable property assets in the UK. In London, Landsec’s buildings include the iconic Piccadilly Lights and developments such as Nova and The Zig Zag Building, SW1 which have transformed Victoria into a vibrant new destination.
Delivering Landsec’s sustainability strategy and science-based targets in close alignment with Landsec’s business and corporate strategy
Taking a lead role in delivering energy reduction across Landsec’s diverse portfolio
Overseeing Landsec’s Environmental and Energy Management system ensuring continued ISO 14001 & 50001 certifications
Leading the priority area of “Efficient use of natural resources” taking responsibility for carbon, energy and renewables
Influencing and motivating others on sustainability, taking complex technical ideas and explaining them in an accessible and engaging manner across the business
Promoting Landsec’s sector-leading programme, engaging with and presenting to external audiences and influencing the sector's response to climate change
Working with the Sustainability Reporting Manager to ensure Landsec produces great reports and maintains its leading position in the CDP, GRESB and DJSI rankings
Supporting the developments team to deliver net-zero new buildings, providing expertise and commissioning support
The successful candidate will work closely with the Sustainability Director and will be responsible for managing and developing a Sustainability Executive. You will play an integral part in the Sustainability team and across the wider business, delivering a sector-leading net zero-carbon strategy.
Ability to identify, communicate, and act on energy inefficiencies and operational improvements
Sustainability experience within the built environment
Background in energy and carbon analysis, management and reporting
Proven project management experience
Excellent written and verbal skills
