Acre is very excited to be working with Nike, the globally recognised brand making a commitment to change, to hire a Global Manager for Sustainable Chemicals Management, to be based at the Nike HQ Campus in Oregon.
To protect Nike's workers, the environment and their consumers, the Nike Code of Conduct expects their suppliers to demonstrate that 'Chemicals are Properly Managed'. Within this role, you will have the opportunity and support to:
Build upon Nike's current requirements by developing and deploying a "beyond compliance" strategy that elevates chemicals management capability
Oversee supplier performance against applicable Code Leadership Standards and the Higg FEM 3.0 Chemical Management Module, working collaboratively to resolve chemicals management issues
Shape and deploy Nike's risk reduction strategy within finished goods and raw material manufacturing by working alongside key internal teams and leveraging industry collaboration where needed
Manage a dynamic chemicals management training program across finished goods factories and raw material vendors
Act as Nike point of contact for industry engagement, vis-à-vis chemicals management activities and efforts, leveraging and shaping industry approaches where necessary
