Our Client, a global leader in responsible investment to is looking to recruit a Head of Global Operations and Relationships based in London. This hybrid role will be responsible for the organisations operations and relationships of their global network members, as well as supporting strategy for the membership recruitment, and maintaining tools and systems for the global team. This is a great opportunity to not only enhance the organisations efficiency, but to also better understand responsible investing and capital markets.

This well reputed organisation encourages investors to use responsible investment to enhance returns and better manage risks. It does not operate for its own profit; rather it engages with global policymakers, governments and institutional investors with the goal to change the way financial markets and economies operate for the betterment of society.

Core responsibilities:

  • Support development and management of direct reports
  • Deliver against the wider team's business plan and budget, including administrative support, providing regular reporting as required
  • Design and manage a relationship management framework and KPI monitoring tool
  • Assist Relationship Managers with their recruitment and member relationship activities by acting as central point of contact, hosting international members and developing and maintaining recruitment or servicing materials
  • Manage the membership application process, ensuring a clear and consistent categorisation of new members

Competencies required:

  • Programme management and organisational skills, with experience in delivering successfully, including directing others that may not be your direct reports
  • Experience in relationship management, sales or strategic planning
  • Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills, and extensive presentation experience to diverse audiences.
  • Broad understanding of global capital markets and the roles played by asset owners, investment/wealth managers, consultants and regulators within financial systems
  • Demonstrable interest in responsible investment and ESG issues, as well as their potential impact on long term investment outcomes and society
