Our client, a major global FMCG is undergoing a unique transformation, as they change transition to a new product portfolio, they are setting world-leading environmental sustainability targets. This role sits within the Procurement function and is key to ensuring they achieve their commitments of net-zero deforestation and have a best in class supply base. In the last 9 years, they have successfully reduced their carbon emissions by nearly 40% and intend to develop carbon-positive factories in the near future.
As the Manager - Environmental Sustainability Programmes - Procurement you will develop and implement the company's Procurement Sustainability Programme, with a specific focus on environmental issues. You will work closely with both Category Managers and the company's suppliers, to drive transparency and ensure that suppliers are working towards the company's commitments.
