If you're looking for a company which doesn't brand the marketing team as the 'colouring in department', you're in the right place. As a business which prides itself on being marketing led, you'll be in a crucial position, making an impact within your team day in, day out.

And when we say marketing led, we really do mean it. Roundtable events within our market fuel our unique thought leadership papers. Thought leadership papers fuel our business development. Our networking events work hard to convene some of the greatest minds within sustainability, to actually drive impact on important global issues, and not just our revenue. None of this would be possible without the marketing team you'll hopefully be joining soon.

You'll be working with recruitment teams across the following sectors;

You'll be given the space to be creative across design, social media, event planning, internal comms and website content, in a supportive and training driven environment. Whilst you play a key role in developing our business, we'll work with you to reach your own development goals.

Day to day, you will be;

  • Managing website content - Liasing with external copywriters, keeping on top of the content calendar, and posting everything to our site
  • Co-creating our new website, utilising the volcanic platform
  • Being the 'go-too-guy' (or gal, of course) for anything related to job adverts and job boards
  • Managing our social media platforms - Producing graphics and video, curating content and driving growth across our LinkedIn channels
  • Producing candidate information packs (just like this one) in Adobe
  • Working with the sales team to produce and subsequently edit video content
  • Supporting in the organisation of our events, which can be anything from 12 people to 250
  • Producing marketing e-mails
  • Ad-hoc design projects such as assisting with presentations and pitch documents

Your role will be varied from day to day. You'll have some set responsibilities to take care of, but as a rule of thumb you'll be receiving requests for exciting new projects daily! This could be organising a breakfast meeting, creating a new pitch document for a consultant, or even helping to design a new wall for reception (honestly, a real life example.)

To keep on top of all this, you'll primarily need to be...

Digitally Savvy

You'll be switching between databases, spreadsheets, adobe files and recruitment systems day in, day out, so being tech savvy is crucial in this role.

Detail Orientated

'How come my job isn't getting the right applications on Linkedin?' or 'How do I get these logos to align?'... Music to your ears, and you're the person to help sort it out!

Organised

We're off to an event. You've coordinated everyone and everything. You've got a bag full of extension cables, batteries and spare name badges and you're not afraid to use them.

It'd be great if you had the following techy skills;

  • Event planning and management
  • Knowledge of recruitment CRM software such as Bullhorn, and job posting via Broadbean
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Indesign and Photoshop
  • Content creation, whether that be via video, blogging, or podcasts
  • Project management tools such as trello or monday.com
  • Creating marketing emails using platforms such as dotmailer
