Acre is delighted to lead the search for a Sustainability Specialist with one of the world's leading extractives businesses operating within the luxury space.

This person will lead the execution of their continuously evolving, highly regarded sustainability and assurance programme, acting as an integral part of the programme's processes, policies and new developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influencing and informing key clients around the programme and its impact
  • Managing the programmes implementation and communication with participants and 3rd parties
  • Developing new systems and processes to accommodate for changing business requirements, evolving ethical standards and changes in the external landscape
  • Overseeing evidence collection and exacting corrective action where needed
  • Managing excellent relationships with third party verifiers and service providers

The successful candidate, under the guidance of the Ethical Initiatives Lead, will have the opportunity to drive the success of the programme by responding strategically to evolving standards and best practice in the industry.

Requirements include:

  • A professional and client-facing engagement style
  • Ability to work across multiple complex projects simultaneously, collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders to strict deadlines
  • Proven knowledge of sustainability within an organisation with complex supply chains
  • Project management skills and highly competent with data, IT systems and processes
  • Willingness to travel and work on a variety of international development focused initiatives
