Acre is pleased to have partnered with the International Tin Association in their search for a Responsible Trade Implementation Manager. You will be working in the ITA Tin Supply Chain Initiative (iTSCi), a joint initiative of governmental authorities, companies and civil society organisations operating in the mining sector to ensure traceability of the minerals and to prevent human rights abuses, violation of norms of security, corruption and fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing incoming reports and audits from the field and evaluating them against legislation and the organisation's code of conduct
  • Communicating with on-site teams to gain clarity on relevant issues and structure further investigation
  • Monitoring and evaluating progress and development to support positive resolutions
  • Managing stakeholder's exposure to risk in supply chains

You would be part of ensuring the success of a programme that impacts miners in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Uganda in their thousands.

You will have:

  • A high-level of attention to detail with a practical, diligent approach to managing complex issues
  • Experience working with complex data sets to derive meaningful conclusions
  • Experience communicating with senior stakeholders and supply chain engagement
  • Developed communication skills with experience in writing with relevance and impact to different audiences
