Acre is pleased to be partnering with a management services business that supports a portfolio of circular-economy associations in their search for a Sales Manager to join their Leadership Team.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the sales team to drive delivery of the business's solutions and products to market. You will be accountable for the strategic oversight of the full 360 sales cycle, from client engagement to the communication strategy.

As a management agency for associations that actively contribute to the development of an environmentally-friendly circular economy, our client focuses on driving forward the anaerobic digestion, biogas and cleantech sectors through effective management and commercial activities. This supports their members' ability to collaborate, innovate and to positively impact climate change and global sustainability. These industries are now growing exponentially around the world as governments and businesses take action to meet their Paris commitments and UN SDGs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Owning the sales process from lead, to onboarding through to effective engagement with members
  • Ensuring success of the sales team by setting clear targets, maximising efficiency and offering clear structure and support
  • Working with existing members and clients throughout the year to ensure their needs and their market opportunities are understood
  • Working across the senior leadership team to develop the overall business plan and budgets and identify potential areas for growth

The successful individual will have a strong track record in building consultative relationships and be able to demonstrate a strong interest in sustainability and circular economy.

Requirements include:

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, ideally with an events background, with a proven track record of commercial success
  • Experience of leading a successful sales team through effective management and support
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior industry leaders
  • An authoritative, resourceful and results driven personality
