Acre is delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with Earthwatch to source a Senior Development Manager to be based within their Corporate Partnerships Team.

Earthwatch is a global NGO who has been bringing people, science and nature together, to tackle environmental issues, for almost 50 years. This combination of hands-on experience and sound evidence stimulates change at both an individual and organizational level, which ultimately informs decision making and influences policy.

Earthwatch is seeking an exceptional relationship builder to drive new business and build on long-standing relationships with International Brands including Mitsubishi and HSBC.


  • Developing new business opportunities, pitching to clients and proactively responding to bids
  • Securing significant investment from the corporate sector through the development of new partnerships
  • Working with corporate partners to support their business sustainability agenda, around key issues such as supply chain sustainability and plastic use reduction
  • Producing compelling proposals and ensuring that corporate pitches are tailored, visually appealing and impactful
  • Building a healthy pipeline of new prospects to manage throughout the full partnership development lifecycle

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Partnerships, the successful candidate will have the exciting challenge of maximising opportunities for Earthwatch to deliver their mission. You will build on Earthwatch's highly successful corporate partnerships model and join a passionate and dedicated team.

Skills required:

  • Extensive experience developing and successfully delivering corporate partnerships or corporate engagements
  • Proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities
  • Creative aptitude to develop tailored propositions and cultivate plans for new prospects
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to bring clarity to prospective partners through engaging proposals on complex sustainability issues
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence at a senior level
