Acre is very excited to partner with Livelihoods Funds, one of Europe's most interesting and fastest growing social enterprises to source a Senior Programme Coordinator. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious, international programme manager to have a scalable, visible impact and bridge the gap between corporate investors and developing communities.

Responsibilities for this very important role include:

  • Prospecting, designing and implementing large-scale impactful projects with key investors
  • Identifying and selecting future investment projects/programmes
  • Leading the design of programmes with NGOs, local communities and private enterprises
  • Compiling and submitting all completed programme design documentation to the Investment Committee
  • Managing project launches while monitoring and reporting progress to the executive team
  • Contributing directly to Livelihoods Funds' impact generation and reporting strategies
  • Enhancing innovation activities by identifying and designing new field-related opportunities

Livelihoods Funds transforms the supply chains of their investors while leveraging the carbon economy to improve the livelihoods of rural communities and contributing to effective climate change mitigation. The successful candidate will learn, grow and develop their career within this dynamic and impactful organisation.

Key qualities and attributes needed to be considered for this unique position include:

  • Excellent negotiation expertise with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (NGOs, private sector, governments) and find ways to align through action
  • Ability to empower colleagues and the public on complex technical and social topics
  • Flexible and nimble with a keen eye for new innovative ideas and efficiencies
  • First-hand experience of large-scale projects within ecosystem restoration, conservation agriculture or rural development
  • Significant and tangible expertise of agriculture project management and community engagement
  • Hands-on field experience with a solid background in carbon field projects, responsible supply chains, sustainable farming, climate action and/or capacity building
  • Track-record of project work in developing countries with rural communities, field NGOs and the private sector
  • Business level English and French
