Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Manager

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Strategy, Reporting & Governance you will be the communications lead internally and externally for the Digital Impact & Sustainability (DI&S) team, articulating progress and milestones of the 'Be Tomorrow' campaign and igniting intrigue among BT's customer base.


  • Develop content and materials to engage and influence BT's customer base around Digital Impact and Sustainability topics
  • Directly lead customer engagement on the full range of sustainability topics
  • Prepare board-level presentations and papers for use at regular board sessions
  • Write speeches on digital impact and sustainability for use by senior leaders at events e.g. Davos
  • Oversees and develops engaging content on digital impact and sustainability which features on the pages and internally for colleagues via the intranet

You will prove influential in ensuring Digital Impact and Sustainability topics inspire colleagues internally, including at c-suite and that externally it supports larger customer engagement and acquisition, positioning BT at the forefront of the agenda.

Experience Required:

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including writing board-level papers and speeches for c-suite
  • Ability to influence and inspire colleagues internally, and stakeholders externally
  • Track record in supporting secure large customers through articulating the sustainability proposition
  • Experience in a sustainability communications/corporate affairs capacity
  • Strong commercial acumen
