Acre is excited to partner exclusively with a Fortune 500 real estate business in the search for a Sustainability Consultant who will join their world class sustainability practice.

The organisation advises investors, developers and occupiers of property around the world on all aspects of sustainability: developing their sustainability strategies; managing their risks, reporting, design and communications; driving environmental and energy performance improvements; and advising on socio-economic impacts and health & wellbeing.

2018 is proving to be another successful year for the team in which they have seen continued growth in service offerings, revenues, and impact. In recognition of these successes and having identified significant opportunities in the area of Strategic Sustainability Consulting, they are looking to invest further in the growth of the business by hiring Sustainability Consultant.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting compliance and thought leadership projects to help clients drive improvements and communicate their performance to key stakeholders
  • Advising clients in the analysis of their risks and opportunities and clearly and concisely articulate recommendations to help drive improvements in their performance
  • Analysing and managing data to inform sustainability performance improvements and strategic decision making
  • Working under minimal supervision in a rigorous manner to deliver accurate, high quality and engaging outputs
  • Line managing and supporting the professional development of junior colleagues

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working with commercial property and understand landlord and tenant relationships. This exciting opportunity will be working with other sustainability specialists within the team and across the wider Fortune 500 service functions.

You will also have:

  • A degree (preferably Masters) in sustainability, environmental management or related topic
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and client management skills, with the ability to work under pressure to client determined deadlines
  • Excellent team-working, and ability to contribute towards a positive team dynamic
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to analyse complex data, information and draw robust conclusions
