Acre has been engaged by Landsec, one of the world's leading property development and investment companies, to identify a talented Sustainability Executive to join their industry-leading sustainability team.

You’ll be working for the company who own some of the most successful and recognisable property assets in the UK. In London, Landsec’s buildings include the iconic Piccadilly Lights and developments such as Nova and The Zig Zag Building, SW1 which have transformed Victoria into a vibrant new destination.

This role will play a key part in assisting the sustainability team to drive performance in environmental, waste and energy management in line with the company's combined energy & environmental management systems.

You’ll be joining a FTSE 100 company with the ambition to lead the industry on sustainability. In this sustainability and energy role you will cover a broad range of topics from EV charging, through to ISO 14001 and circular economy.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Supporting the effective implementation of the company's combined environmental and energy management system (ISO14001 & ISO50001)
  • Co-own and maintain internal documentation control of energy and environmental related action plans, procedures and templates
  • Co-ordinating and collating energy and environmental related data, and identifying areas of focus for improvement on energy and environmental performance
  • Work closely with the sustainability, energy and environment managers and operational teams to ensure improvements across sustainability in the operational portfolio
  • Visiting Landsec sites, ensuring that all environmental and energy auditing requirements are met by maintaining a schedule of visits and outstanding actions

The successful candidate will have exceptional communications and engagement skills combined with the ability to develop strong working relationships. You will also be highly adaptable and resilient to ensure success across a growing and fast paced environment.

The successful individual will also have:

  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills with the ability to be highly adaptable
  • A self-motivated individual who has strong data analysis experience combined with the ability to communicate these effectively with a result driven approach
  • Knowledge of environmental and energy management systems and the requirements of IS0 14001 and 50001
  • Knowledge of environmental and energy legislation and best practice
  • Auditing and compliance monitoring experience
