This position has been created due to the ever-increasing demand from clients at this global investment bank for products and services that can accelerate the transition to a more sustainable economic model, with a focus on the energy space.

The team works across the bank proving subject matter expertise for transactions and advisory. Externals Clients include pension funds, private equity funds and long-term asset managers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of innovative sustainable finance advisory products and services for internal and external clients of the bank
  • Providing technical analysis of transactions across all aspects of the bank's extensive renewable energy franchise
  • Helping clients measure their contribution towards a more sustainable, lower carbon economy
  • Ensuring environmental criteria and impact ratings are applied within investment decisions made for low carbon and green infra investments across the bank
  • Supporting management in liaising with policy makers at national and international level to align with, and contribute to the development of, develop green reporting/impact measurement frameworks
  • Assessing, monitoring and reporting environmental / sustainable development benefits and risk

Experiences Sought:

  • Track record of supporting complex projects/transactions in a consultancy/investment banking/private equity environment
  • Project work in environmental impact (EIA, ESIA) / ESG
  • Renewables project experience
  • A track record of innovation and collaboration to deliver high quality results for clients
