Powered by nature and without compromise, SailGP is an annual, global sailing championship, founded in 2017 by Larry Ellison. The league is home to a New Edge concept comprising of the world’s fastest inshore stadium racing, hosting epic battles between nations and top athletes, in an unrivalled atmosphere at some of the world’s most iconic harbours.
As a water-based sport, SailGP harnesses the power of wind, pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation to deliver ever-more efficient methods and materials in their ambition to reach net zero carbon faster than any other mainstream sport.
At the intersection of tech and sport, SailGP’s commitment to go beyond best practices and driving disruptive technological innovations will see them race towards net zero by 2025.
Acre is partnering with SailGP to identify a Sustainability Director who will deliver the above agenda and elevate the concept of sport as a force for global environmental and societal good.

You will develop a flagship sustainability strategy with purposeful impact at the core, to be embedded across all SailGP operations.

You will build and nurture partnerships to advise and influence the landscape of sustainability in sport.

INFLUENCE AND ENGAGE
You will develop, integrate and engage a sustainability proposition within the hearts and minds of Sail GP’s global workforce, with support of a team which you will recruit and manage.

INNOVATE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
You will further develop and leverage SailGP’s innovative approaches to digital technology and further realise associated sustainability opportunities.
