Its private credit function is one of Europe's leading specialist debt management businesses comprising of four strategies: Direct Lending, Structured Credit, CLO Management and newly launched Strategic Opportunities. Since its inception in 2007, its funds have provided over €16bn+ of capital to over 300+ European businesses.
Your Key Responsibilities
Supporting engagements with investment teams on ESG for potential investments, across all credit strategies (Private Credit and Liquid Credit)
Reviewing ESG-related due diligence materials, and ensuring considerations of material ESG risks are embedded within the Investment Committee slides
Leading annual ESG data collection exercise for Direct Lending, Structured Credit and CLO management
Supporting drafting and delivering of annual Credit ESG report for investors
Supporting the production of reporting related to regulation and industry commitments e.g. PRI reporting / SFDR disclosures
Managing external data sources, and embedding them within investment, monitoring and reporting processes e.g. RepRisk, FinDox, EcoVadis etc.
Supporting portfolio company engagements in developing and tracking ESG margin ratchets, including agreeing on relevant targets
Producing responses to Investor requests for new and existing strategies e.g. ESG questionnaires
You Will Bring
2+ years of relevant experience in sustainability / ESG, or the Credit / Finance industry
Master's program in a relevant field
Demonstrable interest in ESG topics
Excellent written skills, with strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting in an articulate, clear and confident manner
Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint to an advanced level
