About the Role
The Head of Program Management will design and implement strategic frameworks for a non-profit foundation dedicated to supporting initiatives in climate action, mindfulness, wellness, and culture. This individual will ensure that programs align with the foundation's mission, drive measurable impact and foster collaboration among stakeholders. The role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for non-profit work, strong project management skills and experience in the foundation's focus areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Design and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive frameworks for programs that support climate action, mindfulness, wellness, and cultural initiatives.
Conduct needs assessments and leverage research to identify gaps and opportunities within the foundation's focus areas.
Create detailed program plans, including objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and risk management strategies.
2. Implementation and Management:
Oversee the execution of programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless program delivery.
Monitor program performance through regular evaluations and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including partners, community leaders, and beneficiaries.
Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.
4. Resource Management:
Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
Prepare regular reports for the Executive Director and Board of Directors on program progress and outcomes.
5. Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure programs comply with all relevant regulations and ethical standards.
Develop and maintain accurate documentation of program activities, outcomes and impact.
Prepare and submit reports to funders and stakeholders as required.
