Hummingbirds is committed to developing high-quality projects and, as part of their broader impact and sustaianbility commitments, is a B-Corp. Their three main activities are:
- Sourcing, developing and financing new NbS projects - Capacity building and assistance to local project co-developers - Scale-up and funding of operations, including carbon sales
We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Business Developer to shape and drive their global sales strategy for carbon credits and environmental assets. You'll be responsible for building and leading the commercial team in Hummingbirds, bring new clients onboard and, as a part of the management team, contribute to the overall strategy of Hummingbirds.
What you'll need:
- 8+ years in business development or sales in the Voluntary Carbon Market
- Startup spirit, strong ethics, and a drive to make a difference
- Fluent in English & French (Spanish/Portuguese a plus)
What you’ll do:
- Lead global commercial strategy and a growing sales team
- Secure carbon credit offtakes and spot deals
- Represent Hummingbirds on the global stage
- Collaborate across teams to ensure impact and efficiency
