Acre is pleased to be supporting a leading innovator in renewable fuels and digital carbon solutions, who is seeking a Product Marketing Lead — Carbon to shape how advanced carbon-related products are brought to market. This role translates regulatory frameworks, carbon accounting methodologies, and technical product features into captivating, value-centric messaging and go-to-market strategies that drive commercial success in one of the world's fastest-growing markets for low-carbon fuels and traceable clean commodities.
Key Responsibilities
Positioning, Messaging & Differentiation

Define and refine messaging for digital carbon offerings: carbon removals, supply chain traceability, and carbon intensity attributes.

Highlight product differentiators in carbon credit quality and leverage narrative storytelling for tech-enabled clean energy solutions.
- Translate technical and regulatory requirements (e.g., LCFS, 45Z, compliance frameworks)

Articulate product advantages in both voluntary and regulated carbon markets.
Go-to-Market Strategy

Partner with Product, Business Development, and Sales to launch and scale carbon solutions.

Develop customer segments and buyer personas (from processors and cooperatives to corporate sustainability leaders).

Lead creation of launch toolkits, sales playbooks, and marketing assets supporting outreach and expansion.

Collaborate on commercial initiatives and enable cross-team strategy alignment.
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Framing

Track evolving carbon policies, market trends, and competitor moves that inform marketing and product direction.

Partner with policy and sustainability teams to ensure messaging stays current with regulations.
Enablement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Train sales and customer success teams to communicate the value of carbon products—handle objections, refine value propositions.

Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to anchor marketing materials in technical credibility and future vision.

Act as a champion for the customer, continuously relaying market insights for product refinement.
Content & Campaign Development

Create high-impact content: whitepapers, webinars, case studies, visual collateral, pitch decks, and ROI calculators.

Represent the brand externally—at events, webinars, and through strategic co-marketing partnerships.
Qualifications

7+ years in product marketing, sustainability communications, or GTM roles in clean energy, climate tech, or agriculture.

In-depth understanding of carbon markets, emissions tracking, or environmental compliance.

Exceptional storytelling and ability to clarify complex subjects for a broad audience.

Experienced in sales enablement, competitive analysis, and driving multi-channel campaigns.

Skilled cross-functional collaborator and persuasive communicator.

Bonus: Familiarity with digital MRV systems, CI scoring, distributed ledger technology, or advanced copywriting.
