Acre has been engaged by global real estate business to identify a new QHSE Manager join their team within the ‘Critical Environments’ division with most of their clients within the life sciences and manufacturing industries. Yow will support clients in and around the north of the UK, with customers are based in areas like Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Leeds.
They are looking to speak with candidates who break the mould of traditional safety expert and go beyond pure compliance. candidate will be enthusiastic, imaginative and have well developed people skills. You will drive change through building relationships with a wide range of stakeholder and enjoy presenting innovative ideas, the ability to think outside the box needs to come naturally!
Role Summary:
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Act as a focal point for new and exciting QHSE strategies that engages operational teams.
- Implement, contribute to, and manage the Strategic QHSE Plan including creating new initiatives and campaigns.
- Help them think outside the box with regards to health and wellbeing, psychological safety and emotional health.
- Provide guidance and practical expertise on all matters related to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, ensuring there is appropriate support and guidance when its needed.
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude with presenting, running workshops and promoting a new brand of QHSE leadership.
The successful candidate will have strong client relationship management skills, ideally within a real estate, FM or related industry, with exceptional knowledge and qualifications within H&S. Strong analytical and planning skills are essential, along with commercial and strategic awareness and the ability to remain calm and focussed.
Experience Required:
- Excellent presenting skills and a good level of confidence in front of people.
- The ability to take inspiration from other industries and create a best-in-class environment.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to spin plates and pick up new projects.
- Development and delivery of QHSE training, new initiatives including wellbeing and health.
- Act as an ambassador for a new brand of safety that is not just technical and dis-engaging.
- The ability to travel around the north of the UK with occasional travel to London HQ.
