APM Terminals were looking for the right candidate to successfully deliver a project in Ghana with minimum harm or loss. An understanding of the requirements of managing a port construction project were paramount to the successful delivery of the project and as such, Acre were tasked with sourcing a candidate a strong combination of project management and construction experience.
Remit:
APM Terminals' HSSE Project Manager would be responsible for the provision of:
Competent health, safety, security and environmental advice
Guidance and training to support the execution of key project tasks
Reporting and offering practical management solutions
The Successful Candidate:
Acre supported by placing a highly-motivated professional with experience in port construction projects to provide health, safety and environmental advice whilst guiding and training a project team. The candidate's experience also allowed for the application of practical management solutions for all aspects of the delivery process using a combination of excellent managerial, communication, and training skills.
