To achieve their goal of becoming an industry leader in responsible banking, they are seeking an individual passionate about sustainability data and technology, possessing business analysis, data technology, and project management experience. This individual will be crucial in advancing the sustainable Finance and Net Zero agenda through data enablement. They will manage business requirements and work closely with tech teams to ensure the successful delivery of business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Business and Data Analysis:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of sustainability data use cases to enhance tangible equity returns.

  • Act as the business requirement owner within an agile delivery framework, responsible for articulating and detailing requirements for collaborative solution development with the technology team.

  • Establish and maintain quality standards, reviewing delivery outputs to ensure alignment with business objectives and benefits.

  • Conduct hands-on data analysis and verification of Net Zero model calculations and other data-related tasks during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), presenting findings for approval by the business owner.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and provide necessary demonstrations and training for the deployment of data solutions.

  • Gather user feedback and provide support for prioritising use cases.

  • Evaluate data vendors and providers while conducting coverage analyses.

Internal Project Management:

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of data initiatives, from initial requirement gathering to commercialisation.

  • Manage and monitor milestones for data initiatives to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and the technology team to guarantee the realisation of business benefits.

  • Be responsible for managing the budget and allocating resources effectively to enhance efficiency.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the evaluation and implementation of data use cases.

  • Secure and align appropriate internal resources in coordination with Technology, Operations, and relevant business/product stakeholders.

  • Manage the timelines of both internal and external partners for building and integrating data solutions.

This presents an exciting opportunity for candidates with experience in technology consulting and delivery, data analysis, and modelling. This position will partner with the CSO team, CCIB teams, Product Partners, and the Data and Governance teams.
