Acre is supporting SBF GB&I on this journey with the search for their new Corporate Sustainability Manager. In this role, you will be integral in achieving the business' vision and transition to a more sustainable future, positively managing impacts on both planet and people.

You will also be:

  • Collaborating closely with the Head of External Affairs & Sustainability and Function Leads to implement the company's Sustainability strategy at a local market level, engaging key functions on the company's roadmaps for change.

  • Working in partnership with the External Senior Communications Manager to build a compelling narrative for sustainability to enhance corporate reputation using a range of case studies, data and insights. You will also build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, engaging and influencing actively with industry associations, membership bodies and stakeholder forums around the company's strategy and actions.

  • Horizon-scanning for emerging trends within sustainability, bringing these ideas and knowledge to relevant forums, and serving as a subject matter expert on topics including carbon emissions, LCA, sustainable packaging, environmental management and others.

You might find the following skills will set you up for success at SBF GB&I:

  • A technical sustainability skillset, with expertise and experience in delivering both environmental and social projects, ideally in the consumer goods or FMCG sector.

  • A passion for driving high-impact programmes on a local and regional level, coupled with the ability to adapt when needed to other topics and emerging themes within the company.

  • An eye for detail, and a data-conscious approach to methodology, such as reporting, making decisions, and communicating SBF GB&I's successes.
