ChargeGuru is an exciting, tech-enabled start-up focused on providing charging solutions for electric vehicles to individuals and companies. Acre is delighted to work with ChargeGuru as they launch their business in Germany by identifying a Country Lead, who will lead operational and sales development in the country.

ChargeGuru has a platform model and relies on strong partnerships with electrical contractors and automotive OEMs to feed its growth. The company already operates in France, Spain and Portugal and is expanding quickly across Europe.

This Country Manager will be central to ChargeGuru's presence and success in Germany. They will:

  • Create ChargeGuru's market in Germany by developing relationships with automotive OEMs and suppliers providing charging equipment and related services

  • Build and nurture a network of electrical contractors

  • Define and implement the marketing and sales strategies across Germany

  • Hold accountability for operations (purchases, invoicing, credit management, legal topics, etc.)

  • Progressively build the local team

  • Oversee the successful delivery of projects

To be successful in this role, the Country Manager will have:

  • 4-6 years' experience in Business Development / Operations teams

  • Engineering background with strong knowledge and experience of business development

  • Fluent language skills in English and German

  • Knowledge of electrical engineering

  • First-hand experience in the EV charging sector would be advantageous
