This role is part of the enterprise-wide sustainability team, shaping the future of impact within lululemon's brand and business. This work doesn't just live in one function; social and environmental impact at lululemon is integrated in everything they do. The team leads and integrates our vision and initiatives across the company to create value for the brand, the collective (guests, employees, makers, ambassadors), and society. As part of the broader Responsible Supply Chain team, Director - Responsible Supply Chain, Environment, you will lead the supplier-facing environmental programs and team.


a day in the life: what you'll do

  • Develop the strategy and direct the implementation of lululemon's supplier-facing environmental program

  • Provide insight and inform our water, energy and chemical goals, and innovating the approach to shared environmental goals across the supply chain.

  • Participate in industry forums and collaborate with other brands to drive industry toward ambitious environmental goals

  • Develop relationships with suppliers and the lululemon liaison office teams to align environmental goals and monitor progress across the supply chain

  • Connect and align with cross-functional partners across regional offices and store support centres

  • Manage and develop a team to build and implement programs using a data-driven approach.


qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with study in product development, business, environmental science, chemistry or engineering.

  • 15+ years experience working in manufacturing, product development, or sustainability-focused roles. Apparel, footwear and/or accessories manufacturing experience a plus

  • 5+ years experience implementing environmental or product sustainability programs related to water, wastewater, energy, and/or chemicals.

  • Proven ability to excel in a highly collaborative environment, with a passion for cross-functional engagement, enrollment and alignment

  • Clear communication skills and ability to build relationships with external groups in the supply chain and across the industry

  • Experience building and/or managing a team

  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities, work in a high-pressure environment and manage high-profile projects under tight timelines

Location: North America - Remote

Compensation and Benefits Package:

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $149,800 CAD - $196,700 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
