Environment Manager - 10 Month Contract

As the world around us continues to evolve and focus on the environment increases, the role of an Environment Manager is more important than ever - particularly within the Utilities and Energy Sector. As such, Acre have partnered with a global utilities organisation to source them an Environmental Manager for a 12-month contract. Given these unprecedented times, our client is keen to hire for this role as soon as possible with an aim to conduct all interviews and inductions virtually.

This role is critical in leading on environmental compliance, developing and delivering environment training and managing the ISO14001 Environment Management System. You will play a key role in the responsible business team, helping drive responsible business practices across the organisation through more effective and timely control of non-financial indicators, environment management systems and compliance checks.

​

The ideal candidate will have extensive operational and corporate experience within waste and water management, biodiversity, energy management and carbon foot printing. You will ideally be experienced in the management, implementation or development of ISO 14001. Ideally, you will also have experience leading investigations on significant environmental incidents.
