Are you an analyst committed to driving ESG into investment decisions?

Our client is a global private equity investment firm present on three continents across 15 offices. Currently, the firm's teams advise funds with a total committed capital of approximately €77 billion. Its core focus is on multinational companies with international growth potential across four sectors: Tech, Consumer, Services and Healthcare.​

Its private credit function is one of Europe's leading specialist debt management businesses comprising of four strategies: Direct Lending, Structured Credit, CLO Management and newly launched Strategic Opportunities. Since its inception in 2007, its funds have provided over €16bn+ of capital to over 300+ European businesses.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting engagements with investment teams on ESG for potential investments, across all credit strategies (Private Credit and Liquid Credit)​

  • Reviewing ESG-related due diligence materials, and ensuring considerations of material ESG risks are embedded within the Investment Committee slides​​

  • Leading annual ESG data collection exercise for Direct Lending, Structured Credit and CLO management​

  • Supporting drafting and delivering of annual Credit ESG report for investors

  • Supporting the production of reporting related to regulation and industry commitments e.g. PRI reporting / SFDR disclosures​

  • Managing external data sources, and embedding them within investment, monitoring and reporting processes e.g. RepRisk, FinDox, EcoVadis etc. ​

  • Supporting portfolio company engagements in developing and tracking ESG margin ratchets, including agreeing on relevant targets ​

  • Producing responses to Investor requests for new and existing strategies e.g. ESG questionnaires

You Will Bring

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in sustainability / ESG, or the Credit / Finance industry

  • Master's program in a relevant field

  • Demonstrable interest in ESG topics

  • Excellent written skills, with strong attention to detail ​

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting in an articulate, clear and confident manner ​

  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint to an advanced level​
