Do you want to make a sustainable impact in one of the world's leading FMCG organisations? Are you passionate about making positive changes through products, delivering value and providing excellence across a complex, global supply chain?

Acre is partnered with a global FMCG business, with brands present in over 40 countries, a diverse workforce, and a range of sustainable and innovative products. Looking to expand their sustainability team further with a Global Sustainability Executive, this newly created role is set to be at the forefront of the global sustainability agenda to operationalise commitments and create widespread change.

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

  • Closely collaborating with the Head of Sustainability to evolve the strategy across both Environmental and Social elements. You will be involved in multiple projects, from net-zero carbon strategies and 100% recyclable packaging commitments to ensuring diversity and inclusion targets are being met throughout the supply chain.

  • Collecting data and analysing what you find to further contribute to the direction of the ESG strategy. You will also be presenting, both internally and externally, pm the progress of the business' sustainability journey using a range of ESG metrics.

  • Active horizon scanning for emerging trends, technologies, and themes in the global sustainability sphere and paying close attention to the FMCG space. You will contribute to the positioning of this organisation as a market leader through innovation and active intent when it comes to sustainability.

To excel and thrive in this role, you already have the following:

  • A genuine passion for all things sustainability and a desire to inspire others, inside and outside an organisation, to create real and tangible change. This is reflected in your choice of education or qualifications as well as any relevant work experience.

  • Insight into the functioning of a consumer products business. This will help you to hit the ground running, to keep up with emerging trends, and to work in a familiar setting.

  • A can-do attitude, with the ability to work on several projects and thematic areas at once. You enjoy a challenge, to engage people, and to see something through!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is ready for their next long-term step. If this sounds like you and you feel you can add value to this ambitious sustainability programme, don't hesitate to reach out today.

If you feel you have some relevant attributes or skills but not all, please do still apply, as we value all applicants and upskilling the right individual. For any questions, please contact Ruth Smith at ruth.smith@acre.com.
