Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and food systems? A boutique sustainability strategy consultancy with a global presence and collaborative approach is seeking a managing consultant to lead its efforts in the APAC market, with a specific focus on sustainable agriculture and food systems.

As the managing consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for sustainable agriculture and food systems within the organization.

  • Managing and growing key accounts based on agreed-to account/client-earned revenue objectives set annually.

  • Leading the development of proposals, including research design, analysis, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Providing leadership and mentorship to assigned team members, including conducting annual performance reviews.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in a sustainability consultancy leadership role, with a specific focus on sustainable agriculture and food systems.

  • Expertise in advising clients on positioning and strategy development, benchmarking, and materiality assessments in relation to sustainable agriculture and food systems.

  • A background in corporate communications and affairs, with experience in assessing reputation and issues management related to sustainable agriculture and food systems.

  • A self-starter mentality and a highly collaborative mindset.

  • Strong cultural knowledge of the APAC market, either living in or from Singapore or Hong Kong.

  • A relevant network within the agriculture, commodities and food production markets in both Asian and Western-based companies.

  • A strong sense of purpose and mission, and a passion for sustainability and driving change in the agriculture and food sectors.
